Elizabeth Rohwer wore the traditional dress of her native country and provided a display of East Europen maps, photographs from Ottoman Empire forts, churches, mosques, and cultural artifacts, fabrics and handicrafts.
Kathi Diamant displayed for the first time an Eastern Europen traditional costume which Dora bought in the 1930s.
There were plentiful Bulgarian-style appetizers, breads, and cakes, as well as Bulgarian Plum Brandy.
